About Benoît
Benoît Depaire is a professor of Business Informatics at Hasselt University. His research focuses on data mining in a business context, process mining, process simulation, machine learning, and behavioral analytics. He is one of the co-founders of the International Workshop on Event Data and Behavioral Analytics and a member of the IEEE Task Force on Process Mining. Within the Business Informatics research group, he is responsible for the applied research unit BIARU, which acts as a catalyst for organizations to turn their data into business value. Its operating principle is to combine novel scientific insights with business realism. Additionally, Benoît Depaire regularly shares his insights and experiences at industry talks and advisory boards.
